I love bad date stories. First dates are so much like interviews, you know everyone is putting on their best face, the interesting part is what they think their best face is! I think you should give people a second chance, who knows what they're thinking on their first date. Impress her, pretend your not interested, how nervous they are when they're out with you.... In this case the "stand up guy" is pretty much a loser in the game of common sense. The rule of making jokes on the first date, you have to be some what courteous and /or respectful to the other person. That rule can be bent to a certain degree. Really, when you think about it, there are no rules. Just guide lines. Anyways, if your the kind of person that has a sick sense of humor, then try with all your will power to tone it down (in person or on video) till that person feels comfortable with you enough to hear spankin' the monkey jokes because that person may take a longer time than you do to reach that type of comfort level.
